Job Description-Network Engineer This is a role for those who are passionate about technology and requires commitment, desire and work ethic. We are seeking highly experienced, hands-on Network engineers for role that involves implementation, Operations and monitoring. This is a full time position which involves:

 

 (Job Description) IT Operational Activities

1.      Incident Management- Incident tracking, troubleshooting and Resolution

2.      Change Management- Planning , implementation and Validation

3.      Request fulfilment and execution of documented operational tasks.

 

Core Infrastructure:

1.          Management of Network Infrastructure which encompasses administration, configuration and resolution on a 24x7x365 basis across a variety of network platforms including but not limited to: routing, switching, wireless, load balancing, and network security platforms

2.          Strong grasp of concepts as well as hand-on experience in network and networking technologies including Switches (L2), Routers/Routing (IP), Routing protocols (OSPF, EIGRP, and BGP) and Internet based network operations.

3.          Good understanding of networking issues including packet loss, performance tuning, routing issues and switching issues.

4.          Working knowledge on different VPN technologies including Site to site and SSL based VPN technologies.

5.          In depth conceptual and hands-on understanding of available Application delivery technologies- F5/ BIG IP (LTM and GTM Appliances)

6.          Should have worked both on IOS and Nexus devices ·         Excellent troubleshooting skills and root cause analysis capabilities.

7.          Capability to document as well as follow policies and procedures in day-to-day operations of security and network operations.

8.          Conceptual and hands-on knowledge on Cisco firewalls (CISCO ASA)

9.          Working and conceptual knowledge on AAA /TACACS configurations (CISCO ACS)

10.       Cisco wireless management and configuration

11.       Network capacity planning

12.       Configuration and Deployment of Network hardware 

13.       Good understanding of DHCP and DNS both conceptual and hands-on.

14.       Experience in a variety of monitoring tools like solar winds, Netbrain, Splunk etc.   

 

Educational Qualification:

Minimum of 5 years of experience

CCNP certified

BS in Engineering is preferred

A good understanding of ITIL- Service Management, Change management and Incident management.

Understanding of Cisco UCS , VMWARE,Ansible,Python technologies would be an added advantage
