Dear vampire users,

I have tried to enable the dipole fields using the command line ' sim:enable-dipole-fields=true'. But it gives an error. What is the correct form of the bool flag?

Thanks and regards,
Syam.

The VAMPIRE 5.0 manual on page 34 has:

sim:enable-dipole-fields flag

Based on that. it looks like the = sign in your post below would need to be removed to have:

sim:enable-dipole-fields true

If that doesn't work then the documentation might be wrong and enabling it might also work just like in the input file at [2] were they have just:

sim:enable-dipole-fields

Kind Regards,

Thanks, Gavin for your reply. I have tried all the possibilities. But none of them worked. Finally, I got it from their youtube video. It worked

Syam

Syam,

Thanks for informing that you used instead "dipole:solver=tensor" like in the youtube video [1] from the workshop [2] and mentioned in posts [3,4].  As that may help other users that come across your post.

Kind Regards,
