David Tanks suggested I share this info for a 10 meter vertical build with the group. I had sent it to him in response to his recent note about the narrow band FM net..
"David, attached are 10 meter vertical plans that are cake easy to build and work great. I use one for all my 10 meter contacts and only have feed point mounted 6 feet above ground. All you need is 28 feet of RG58 and a std. PL259 (M) or cable mount type SO59 (F)
The fancy article tells the details and the rough drawing is what I went by to build mine."
Folks, I am sure that there are many variations to this design that are superior to it; however, mine was very easy to construct and although rough, it measures below 1.5 on the center of the band so I didn't tinker with it any further. It outperforms my EFHW on 10.
