CHIRP Users: Help!

  Trying to create new channels for a BTech mobile radio. I have downloaded the setup in the radio. It has 12 channels listed. I see no way to create a new channel in the software, and the Help files are of absolutely no use. It does not mention it. So, other than creating a new channel in the radio's memory (which I did, but when downloaded into the software, it did not show the new channel numbers/info), I have no idea how to do it. Thanks in advance for any help you can give me.

P.S. The radio is a BTech UV-25x4, if it makes any difference.

NEVER MIND! I shut the program down, and then started it up again, and downloaded the info from the radio, and, voila! There the new channels are. When all else fails, shut a program/computer down, and start it up again.
