A lot of issues installing the latest version from a beginners standpoint

As a beginner trying to understand the tool. It messed up my weekend trying to get vagrant running starting with the SSH not working (using ubuntu 18.04).

Some users recommended downgrading which also caused problems with virtualbox.

It would have saved a lot of effort and frustration if a good documentation and prerequisite checks are made during the install to ensure all components are in place.

looking forward  in the future to have essential information like these will be clearer in the future.

Thanks a lot. I managed to get it running. Earlier I was attempting to install and run it inside a virtual machine but a lot of issues encountered. Installing it natively on my win7 is did the trick .
