Guru Meditation -306 (VERR_MORE_DATA) ubuntu/xenial64

Vagrant with Virtualbox and ubuntu/xenial64 I'm getting Guru Meditation.

Do not think the issue is a Vagrant bug but posting this so people can get directed to the Virtualbox issue.

The hashicorp ubuntu/xenial64 virtualbox is causing VirtualBox 5.0.18 to go into "Guru Mediation".

If anyone has ideas how to fix this I'd appreciate a follow up.

Changing the Storage Controller from SCSI to SATA and attaching the .vmdk files allows the virtual machine to boot.

Could the ubuntu/xenial64 be build with SATA as there's a known bug in Virtualbox dealing with the LsiLogic controller?

Hello,

hashicorp boxes are the one under hashicorp/* user in Atlas.

Ubuntu is managed by canonical.

Not sure whats the best place to reach them, I would suggest open a bug with ubuntu and they can re-assign?
