Stuck in login loop

Dear Group members

I downloaded a base box from atlas.hashicorp.com, it is based in Linux(Ubuntu 14.04) GUI. The username and password were already provided. Actually it should have directly gone to desktop where there are some files stored, but for me what is happening is that, it goes to desktop for a split second and then comes back to login screen. On entering password it again goes to desktop for split second and comes back.

I checked all the image settings in virtualbox, all are in green.I have set RAM as 2048MB, Video Memory: 128MB.

I changed directory where there is more than sufficient space.

I tried the lightdim and XAuthority thing but that also did not solve my problem.

Hello,

it looks like an issue on the guest VM.

If you go to the Virtualbox gui, and turn the VM from there, and the same happen, you will find out if works or not.

Doesn't look as a problem with the Vagrant box so far.

Can you test a different box?
