Hi all,

The new vagrant share is awesome, but sometimes useless. I use vagrant for my wordpress development and if i share my machine via http I need to change the wordpress url. Ok, it's not a big deal. But every time I share it the vagrant url changes and I need change my wordpress url again. I think this is an issue for other developments too.

It's possible to specify the Vagrant Share Name? Or at least reuse the name assigned the first time I share.

Best,
César.

Hi Mitchell,

Is there any progress on this feature?  I don't see anything in the docs.

It's very tedious for my workflow because I use two vagrant dev machines on my desktop that communicate.
Each of them needs to know the other's URL and this requires a fair bit of tweaking everytime the URL changes.

This would be awesome.  Even to just simply re-use the first URL that is generated.

I just realised this is answered under Shares in the Atlas documentation (not the Vagrant docs) which is confusing.

So to create a custom share you just use the --name parameter e.g.

vagrant share --name my-custom-name

I love Vagrant, it saves me so much time!

Hello

Take note that the share is limited to 1 hour.

Alvaro.
