When you use Microsoft Hyper  V with Vagrant, it will detect an IP Address for later use. Is there a way for me to grab the IP Address for my own Vagrantfile. This is something that I need to be able to use the plugin "vagrant-hostsupdater"

Hi there -

I assume you are talking about the IP assigned by Hyper-V when a guest is brought up? I don't think you can actually know this IP exactly before a VM is created.

However, you shouldn't need that IP at all? That plugin requires you set up a private network anyway, which it then uses to fake out DNS for the rest of your guests. So if you need an IP for that, it would be set by you in your Vagrantfile as a :private_network config option.
