Vagrant a portable app?

I use vagrant 2.2.9 on Windows 10.

I may be mistaken, but I don't think it adds entries to the registry.

Therefore, can it be configured to run as a portable app so that it can run from a thumb drive?

I work in a "floater" environment where workstations are shared, and I want to ensure I always have the app at my disposal no matter where I'm stationed for a particular day.

Do you know if those desktops have virtualbox installed?

are you local admin to create networks if needed ?

i think a good approach will be check with the IT folks that manage those environments.

Vagrant defaults to install to C:\HashiCorp, you could try to install to pendrive on one computer and see if works in other.
