Upgrading VirtualBox environment of Vagrant box

I hae a Vagrant box that I've done an OS upgrade on. I want to make a snapshot. Unfortunately, upon attempt there was error that VirtualBox environment is different (it uses 3.5). I'm trying to find out how to upgrade the VBox environment of the VM to be able to take the snapshot.
