Can we use same Vagrant license for both windows and Mac and how long does the license valid ?

what exactly do you mean Vagrant license. Vagrant is open source and it is free to use.

I mean license for vagrant plugin vagrant-vmware-fusion

i believe the license is one per computer. $79.99 if u buy it from vagrant. but i think you still need to buy the actual software from vmware. i think that's how it goes. but not sure. but let me know. im interested with vmware too.

Thank you for the information.
We already have 4 license and will get back to you if need any. The license which we had are already used on windows system, but now we changed our machines to mac. Can we use our previous license or do we need to get new license or upgrade the existing one.

Does the license specific to operating system/ specific to particular machine if so can we change it?

I think that the only way to answer your question is to talk to the VMware customer support about licensing to get clearer information about it.

I don't see why not if one computer is no longer in used and importing to a new computer should be ok, but you need to double-check if that's possible.

answer is yes, and is perpetual for the versions you are buying.

Workstation 15 and Fusion 11 as today.
