Vagrant (ubuntu) in Windows it's so slow

I have Windows 10 Home Edition Single Language and I have a little problem...

I'm using vagrant to create my environment using Ubuntu-32 to running a project in ruby on rails....

Everything works fine, without problem but the problem is when I'm try to access to the page using the browser for example "localhost:3000" or whatever... 

The server response it's so slow.... I mean the page take a long time to load!

Please if someone can give me some recommendation about it?

Hey there,

is the code shared? Are you using Virtual Box? If that's the case there is little that you can do.
Virtual Box shared file system is known to be fairly slow unfortunately.

Probably not the answer you wanted to hear, but I hope it helps though.

How is the speed without vagrant?

I don’t think Vagrant does any penalty on the speed of the project.

Try copying the files to a local filesystem in the VM

and if the project is small, try to host a copy in /dev/shm and see how it goes.
