how do we go back to vagrant ssh ?

Hi,

This is obviously very simple for some people but I am just stuck here and not sure if there is a forum for Vagrant that someone can point me to.

Basically, I am stuck at vagrant@vagrant:/vagrant $

and I need to get back to vagrant ssh to download this python-pip

Hope someone can tell me how to and would appreciate it if someone can point me to some basic tutorial in terms of knowing the basic syntax like this.

Hi Karen,

The prompt you're describing, i.e. vagrant@vagrant:/vagrant $, is your prompt inside your VM.

To exit that connection (i.e. SSH session), use CRTL-D or type exit. You should get a prompt *outside* of your VM.
