to Vagrant
I have Vagrant box that I can easily run on Virtual Box, but I would like to run those machines on our server environment for the purpose of creating several machines in virtual lab where users can practice. My current machine works fine if I locally run it in Virtual box and I know I can export it, but once imported into ESXi host it does not work very well. Tried importing into VMware Fusion and exporting again for better compatibility with with ESXi host. I am having all sorts of issues when imported into ESXi. Any suggestions?

Hello

Vagrant + ESXi is done by community plugins, and some of them require vSphere.

the ones I have seen can use any box that already exists on vsphere, so if you could be more specific, we can help better.

you can create a VM by hand, onstall vmtools, setup vagrant user with the known ssh key and make sure it works, and then all should work.

If you can share more detailed information, we can help better.

- vagrant version
- plugin you are using
- what errors you get ?
