Our RUSA calendar has been updated to add an additional 100k Populaire each month thru November. Registration is not yet open for these as I work to add those to our charts, but to help everyone with their calendar planning the dates are now listed on our registration page. We will also have a evening start 100k in July and in August to give us some fun night riding experience.

I was just noticing that the Layton Garr Ranch ride is on the same night as the Antelope by Moonlight ride.  Traffic might be problematic if we head out to the ranch.

Ahh, that's no good, thanks for catching that Kelly. I'll swap that ride to August to avoid the conflict, and we'll ride the West Salt Lake 100k route in July.

Long live the 'short' ride :-) So cool that Ken's revived, and is promoting, this series!

Just wanted to post a small ad: Amy and I completed our May Populaire with route #3771 in Cottage Grove, OR. A beautiful loop! Just enough climbs. Sacks full of cute grazing sheep, indifferent in their wool jerseys, to the perfectly Oregon amount of rain we encountered. Very little traffic. Even a bit of smooth gravel (of the construction sort).

A reminder that if you have occasion to travel somewhere with your bike, check out the RUSA Permanent Search feature ( https://rusa.org/cgi-bin/permsearch_GF.pl ) to find your next favorite gem of a ride.

Not only can you follow other people‘s perms, you can design your own. I have family in Colorado so I went ahead and designed 100 K that starts near one of their homes. I rode it Saturday for the first time. And then, if you don’t like parts of it, feel free to submit tweaks to make it a better route.

Cheers,
