Hello USPEX team,

I am using USPEX v25.0 (reported by uspex --version as November 11, 2025).

When I try a 2D run with:

calculationType = -200

USPEX stops during input parsing with:

ValueError: Поддерживаются calculationType только 300 или 301.

So the current v25.0 executable appears to accept only 300/301.

However, the USPEX v25 manual still explicitly mentions 2D crystals and even refers to calculationType = -200 in the Latticevalues section.

Could you please clarify whether:

  1. 2D (-200/-201) is currently supported in v25.0,
  2. this is a bug in the distributed binary/input reader,
  3. or there is a different v25 build required for 2D calculations?

I can provide INPUT.txt, OUTPUT.txt, and log files.

Best regards

It is 200 and 201 not -200 or -201

Thank you very much! I have tried 200 or 201. Unfortunately, same errors were encontered. Here is my INPUT.txt.

You have done a little mistake in thickness and vacuumsize. You can mail me at s.pai...@iitg.ac.in, I will share you the exact input file. I have done this type of calculation some days ago.

Thank you very much! I have just sent an email to your inbox regarding this. Could you please share the exact input file with me?

Best regards, Eric
