I have been communicating with Brer Opara and I’m happy to report that he graciously replied. 

So far so good.

Not entirely to my surprise , not “bomboclaat”, he graciously replied ,

 “It's been a while. How are you and yours? Hope you and yours are doing well.”

Indeed , it’s been a while, Crocodile. 

Thus disarmed by charm, I also confessed, 

“Dear Chidi, 

I think about you a lot 

I'm sorry about using that word "idiot" 

which of course you're not.”

Surprise of surprises, to which he replied,

“That is in the past, let us focus on the present and the future.

Thanks again for reaching out.”

And thus, the civilised pen is mightier than the barbaric sword.

To tell you the truth and thereby clear the air ( past tense coming up) I first got pissed off with Chidi who as a Biafran or a former Biafran and fully aware of starvation as a weapon of war in the Biafra War , I thought ought to be more sensitive about the starvation aspect of the Gaza genocide) and so I got pissed off by  this his reply  to my cry about Israeli overreaction to what happened on 7th of October….and my being pissed off resulted in his writing this sort of thing
