Thanks for facilitating my invitation to speak about my other documentary, IE: Inclusive Excellence. It was also my honor to host your presentation of your documentary on African healing plants, during Black History Month.. My regards to your brilliant students. One of them asked me what should be said to a family member or close friend who supports fascism or something like that? I had answered that the normal thing is for people to ask the person, what is wrong with you?
Afterwards, I thought that it was a bit harsh to say that, until recently when it is clear that millions still support alleged fascists, when love and compassion would bring joy to all. Is it not appropriate to ask in times like this, what is wrong with them, and what if they answer that they are just fine, but, what is wrong with those of us who refuse to join fascism? The smart answer is that nothing is wrong with them nor with us, but something is definitely wrong with a society that produces and nourishes such anti-social and social passions.
We will update the film.
