Nice article.

 Right now the US is misreading 

the crisis in Ethiopia, assuming  wrongly that the

TPLF is/was beloved by the majority of the 

population.

It also misread Libya and Gadaffi, preferring

to empower  Libya’s “Taliban” based in the east of

the country, and underestimating the havoc that

would emerge in  adjacent countries 

and beyond, with the diffusion of weapons.
