Congrats to Kamala Harris - and to you Ken. It seems that your model
has been adopted.

Well let us all pitch in and make it work,  now that Kamala Harris is the official  nominee. Trump may outdo himself, in a  really nasty campaign, alienate all but his core group of followers - and slip on his own banana peel. He may try to ditch Pence somewhere along the line, too, with his characteristic  narcissistic  flair,  and alienate some of his core supporters.

Trump cannot win, whatever strategy he resorts to. He has misread political spaces, both at national and global levels.

And doesn't politics usually defy logical calculation and expectations? Who would ever have thought that Trump would become president in the first place? Who could ever have imagined that he, like Bolsonaro  and the rest of the rightist hordes across the world, would still have people rooting for them.

Politics is the art of the impossible...and the incredulous. I don't ever want Trump in the White House for another four years. But we just have to wait. Let's hope the totality of all his errors and mistakes will call people out to vote and for Biden-Harris.

You're on record to have said so the last time---it did not happen. Guess you now have Ifa on your side now to confidently affirm same. We're watching without cowries.

At least, Kamala looks a bit like Beyonce plus the magic of coming from the union of a powerful Obeah man and a Sukunya warrior. Go there Igbo Redd, be red, red, red, redder than red, heavier than lead, nothing dread.

Let us all push the two to adopt more progressive policies -marijuana legalization on day one, universal health coverage in one year, a black woman on the supreme court at the first opening, reparative justice for slavery descendants and for American Indian Natives within the first term, and publicly funded public university for all rather than funding mass incarceration. Reindustrialization through public works and entrepreneurship grants. It is not simply about beating Trump, any dummy can do that, it is all about Building Forward Better! Let You People Go!

Electoral College manipulations, Putin e -riggings, Black voter suppression, post office mail- in games and white suburban flight have not disappeared from the screen, unfortunately, but doses of optimism are in order for now.

you are completely right gloria
and one more thing: we do not know what the next 2.5 months of campaigning will bring. in my lifetime i've always seen how the campaign was what mattered, and no one can really predict how it will go
we can, however, cross our fingers, and maybe do our bit
