Professor Robin Horton, great scholar of religion, anthropology and related fields, died at 87. His theories on religious conversion remain the most cited.

Sleep well, great ancestor.

The one and only.

May God be with him and his loved ones.

I understand he has long lived in Nigeria, married to a Kalabari woman, the  Kalabari being the core of his research.

Is this the same Robin Horton of the then University of Ife? Wow, the Generals are checking out indeed. May we all be comforted!
