Dear Dr.Akinwunmi Adesina, President of the Africa Development Bank
and Tony Elumelu Chairman United Bank for Africa, I greet you this occasion of Africa Day. please se right below my AFRICA CENTRED or PAN AFRICAN magazine projects,
i have been writing publicly for 40 plus years for the nigerian newspapers on and off and in the course of writing i have uncovered .
i have 40 magazine projects laid out . These are entrepreneurial gaps as far as publishing and writing are concerned bit there is a problem with YOUTH ETHICS ,PROFESSIONALISNM, and MEDIA WRITING for the projects to take off.
Sirs, media writing in the 21st Century could very very technical you could say it has assumed the status of a rocket science but not many African youths writing in any language have what it takes to write to engage the attention ,interest and I would add the pocket of the reader in the 21st century. an era full of distractions and competing interests
there are enormous opportunities for youth as content writers if they are ready to uphold media ethics, professionalism and challenge themselves to produce original copy not cut and paste or AI generated copy
i think the African development bank and the UBA should take note of these points. thank you for reading #media
