Affordable Housing: Towards Ibadan: Towards Oyo State Decongesting Lagos Nigerians sending home of Towards billion dollars yearly much of these goes to property development where they think they could make fortunes, one place is Lagos but Lagos is too congested as the Yoruba actor dele odule put. it Lagos is too congested for creativity
Nigerians' and others should perhaps re direct their investments outside largos to Oher parts of the southwest in this way we would have a large stock of affordable housing. 600 million naira spent on one house on banana island would probably build 600 houses o n th e out skirts of Ibadan city and they would sleep in theses one million Naira house in peace and not in pieces. LAGOS SHOULD perhaps NOT AT THIS TIME BE CALLING FOR INVESTORSV AT LEAST NOT REAL ESTATE which could easily be lost to climate change. WHAT WE SHOULD BE TRYING TO DO IS MOVE People out of Lagos Either towards northern Nigeria where there is abundant land or make them go southwest in places like Ibadan, Oyo state, Ekiti, Osun, Ondo and build well planned villages, towns and cities through funds fromt he Nigerian exchange instead of spending 600 million naira for a house in banana island you could build 600 houses with that amount of money so why banana island do they pay property tax in banana island? if not why not?> #property#development#people#realestate
