The public relations officer of the  Nigerian army has quickly moved in

 To correct what is thought to be a wrong  notion about the   nigerian army

, i would like to suggest we bring back the television comedy  Samanja.  By Arewa players which serves to look at the world through the life of a rank and file soldier  Samanja,

Samanja is only human,he has hopes , fears, aspirations, he experiences pain and wades through perils. Samanja is the man at the roadblock. He is only human

In this way we might gradually establish a mutually beneficial relationship between the soldiers and their host community.

Lastly, perception can win or lose so many things. The Nigerian army should be seen to be respected by the allies, feared by the enemy and loved by the Nigerian people.
