An uncident occured in my area recently and I was quite impressed , i am still impressed at the time and dedication add resources deployed the LONDON METROPOLITAN POLICE to unravelling events and persons associated to the incident. a lesson for  Nigeria
I thought I should have known better about the British Police or the London Metropolitan Police having worked as a security officer in companies founded and managed by ex policeman of the LONDON metropolitan Police
Compny names that come to mind include CIS security FRSS security. both of them very very professional and they place a lot of premium on discipline even more Discipline when working under John Taylor my then immediate supervisor at the facilities department, university of East London ,Docklands.
John Taylor is the reason i learnt the benefit of getting up 4 am in the morning to resume on time at 7 a,.m and working till 7 pm with on hour break. i must have read a management book too much when on the issue on reporting late to work and 5 mins is late enough because you are in the SECURITY BUSINESS, SO I HAD THOUGHT IT WAS PERFORMANCE THAT MATTERED NOT TIME KEEPING.
BUT john Taylor would have none of that. you have to perform and you have to keep time. thats SECURITY for you. john taylor obviuosly brought the ethics, ethos and etiquette of the London metropolitan police to bear on his work as a security supervisor at the university of east london, he is an English gentle man, indeed a credit to his profession #security #management #work
