Dear President Buhari

there are 133 milion nigerians experiencing multi dimensinal poverty, you claim created 30 million jobs through agriculture .good! now its time to create jobs for professionals. those agric jobs maybe low paying jobs, low level jobs,we need the professionals also to bring in the much needed foreign exchange through thei involvement with the support of government, in various parts of the world taking up turkey and turn key projects, mergers and aquisitions, infrastructural develoment,,manufacturing, housing, defence, space etc

Professionals are crucial to the workings of a democracy.

.amongst other attributes

They are noted for being societally conscious,

We cannot afford to toy with idea of most of our prized professionals

 leaving nigeria for greener pastures,

What is to be done?

My suggestion. For top notch and world class education,

 Let the NNPc and Central bank stand behind nigerian

 professionals,also in terms of education, training, business finance and 

scaling up,,same with the foreign affairs ministry,high commission amd

 embassy such that they could bid for jobs or projects any here in the

 world including the choicest projects with the understanding that they 

would repatriate at least 95 percent of their profits back to nigeria

Nigeria lost  55 billion dollars in the last ten years

 to professional services abroad.. Nigeria has some of the 

most highly rated professionals not only on the african

 continent  but globally   

 , the Nigerian central bank Governor. Godwin Emefiele

 could look into this. Export services wise and even domestic wise.

Beyond  the emphasis on nano, micro, small amd 

medium scale enterprises nigerian government 

should look at further scaling up the operation of 

already existing medium to large scale enterprises.

We might look at a legal firm  or accounting firm,with

 100 employees operating for the last 35 years.then 

we say.,Look you have been operating for 35  unbreakable

 years.it  means you know a bit about sustaining a business

. You are likely to be in business in the next 35 years, successio

n planning intact, how can we help you to scale up such that

 you are employing 500 l junior lawyers. Or  junior accountants 

This we believe might help you to take on bigger projects, at home

 and abroad.
