The king of  gardners and Obafemi  awolowo university. 
In those days  at ife varsity  it was said that if even the students had no water to drink  the vice chancellor , Professor Ojetuni Aboyade  would have still made  provision  to water the ornamental plants on campus. 
 years back  I once compared  aboyade to the king  of Gardeners  becauuse of his passion for parks  and gardens  on the campus.
 So OAU campus was referred to as the worlds most beautiful campus! 

On the day coincidentally  I wrote on OAU Ife and Paris!
Obafemi awolowo universty  ife was in the news now following a release on September  15 2023 the anniversary  of the death  of the King of Gardeners!

The king of gardeners and Gardener to the King, Le Nôtre gave the “French garden” its noble reputation. Responsible for the most beautiful gardens of the 17th century, he made Versailles his greatest masterpiece, earning himself a large fortune and international fame.

Irony of water availability and the passage of The King of gardens ...we already know about Versailles & the French taste for beauty of their ladies & cities and royal gardens ..I love the narration only the passage of  one of The earliest VC s ,Prof Ojetunji Aboyade was unpleasant noting that he couldn't have made it to 100+.Why do I think seemingly ungrateful  like this?It's natural anonymous love ! In my 20s I admired academia a lot not knowing it won't be a permanent love as such as I grow up I discovered that intellectual enterprise can be grown on many other fields - the tabloid and now the social media has added a faster circuit to  endless possibilities for  sharing of ones  intellectual productions including cultivating a career in academics.Live on Prof Ojetunji Aboyade.What of Prof Hezekiah Oluwasanmi,possibly the founding VC & an Alumnus of Howard or Harvard university in the USA ?
I m not oblivious of the constant fact about death  to every human beings yet I believe that there s immortality of souls and possibility of rebirth is there!whereas politics on planet earth controls everything yet our Almighty Creator of heaven and earth absolutely knows about sequence of and lifespan of every creature ,however minute and gigantic they are & when this age will the last and end and ag as in interesting enough He alone knows the  crowd,the chemistry  and architecture of the ext world hopefully coined as heaven and brutally tagged as hell for those who don't believe in God  and act His will on earth.
What of other planets we have not reached out of millions of others as astronomers had revealed?
Man reached the moon in July 21 1969 and has doggedly  returned  to the same moon surface to know more and confirm if it could survive life better than earth life subjected to diverse environmental & human pollution.Mans tech resilience has also catapults him to the Mars . Aware that modern man's ingenuity hasn't fast-tracked him beyond few planets and Commendable achievements of multi- cooperating scientists & bold astronauts, cosmos nauts astronomers etc maintaining be the endeavor & not incompatible with God ' s attributes insofar we acknowledge Him as the leading Light. He s  the transcendental  Supernatural Being and if we believe so then the  sky is our limit!
Has any of you thought that life is a mystery as well as limitedly scientifically explainable?
Again has the Creator given or endow mankind with different wisdom or varieties of knowledge with which to survive in peace and war times? Why are we at the top of the evolutionary ladder and we are still descending to lower realms of the beast of animals -waging wars over territories and reproducing/selling  weapons of wars yet to come?
Who are the Master historians and anthropologists who impeccably know beyond beyond?Who and who are the right original settlers and owners of land we dwell now,treasure vehemently  and currently coveting as ours despite human archeological  evidence may not be absolutely reliable nor divinely tenable?

Knowing that  a lot  are still wallowing in poverty, selfishness, greed and inordinate hate  for his own  species.Why 's this so , despite manifold blessings and earthly resources that could ve been used to turn around our uncouth condition by congruous politics & philosophy?
   We need to politically & socially prioritize facilities that will productive ly 
determine individual effective living and do a census to facilitate this for 7.5billion world population whereas this world isn't more than 250 million in Chris t time according to  Dr Leslie Duewels book.

Who are the Master historians and anthropologists who impeccably know  beyond hitherto knowledge that w are in transient life and Earth's span is a metaphor?Is is true that the exterminattion of this present life will be sudden? It LL be announced by a Trumpeter as biblically predicted by the book of books?
    Should we be bothered nor esoterically   concerned -- 
Who and who are the right original settlers and owners of
        the land we now dwell,
         treasure vehemently 
         and currently coveting as ours?
     
Despite  human archeological  evidence reveal the pereniality of each era and changing  landscape ,   are these amoeboid"assets  absolutely reliable  to generate a New Mindset  that will be less possessive of any future rulers & inheritors of estates and presidents of  republics?
   When shall we collectively review the        co-efficiency of power  that modern         democracy bequeath to winners of
     Elections  who may turn out not as        bona fide change - agent , conscientious governors or presidents and
     go- Getter of resources needed to bring 
    Social  Change and attributes of                effective living? Because there are multitude waiting locally, globally not only to taste political power but to be democratically  'given' their own tenure.

I opine that single term democratic rule will augur well to search & test more humane minds without waiting for many years other than a SINGLE  4 or 5 or 6- year - tenor for any Local Chairman or Governor or presidents of 21 st c who have emerged "victorious" especially in Nigeria & I think the same of this planet systems in a General Election  coming to 
    to elective power rooted in  voters  power.
  This will reduce   materialistic hanging on n to  power.
And  knowing life on earth is transient and will not remain the same if holistic Governance that will   facilitate transformation of each Homo sapiens of 21 st century to live and experience functional existence than otherwise is adopted. This will prompt a judicious mind set to each sojourner to  partisan politics.Why are we experiencing discontent  now & then ? Why are  some  politicians claim to be faith bearers ?
    
Why can't they ask for wisdom and humility for governance ?Why is spiritual change not measurable in faithfuls ? Or is it because there s much religiosity than godliness in believers worldwide?
    Why are their prayers not answered and manifest in social change ? Why are proliferation of churches and yet no spiritual morphing on the society?  Why then are believers if we can't draw powerfully as ND miraculously too f to ok our our faith practice ? When shall we indulge in man to man s love first as basic teaching  informed us  -- we actually ought to love our fellow man first before other matter!
Henceforth we should change our prayer content to include our own godly formatting to be a change catalyst for others - including the state we serve if we are politicians.Lets watch out  with fullest optimism to manifest soonest possible in our dynamism as leaders and the led Before Our Very Eyes.
