I have looked up Amazon.co,uk and i have found a life jacket is between 10 pounds and 50 pounds. I can conjecture that the 76  people missing were without life jackets. Where do we go from here?

There are needless deaths  in   Nigeria, the last time it was building collapse and  I did state that a lot of problems in Nigeria can be resolved at the level of the alumni association.

I picked a certain   Lanre Bamkole, a structural engineer from Government college  Ibadan to stem the tide of building collapse in Lagos  for good reason. He is brilliant  and versatile and his school, government college  ibadan has produced 80 percent of the presidents of nigerian society of engines so he can tap not only into his personal network, professional network and alumni network. I still put his name forward  as commissioner for urban and physical planning of lagos state along with another son of professor Architect Bayo Akinbode

Now let's turn to potable water. The water crisis is a woman crisis in many parts of the world

Pipes and pumps have replaced women walking or trekking up and down not really so in nigeria where 100 million are exposed to contaminated water also referred to as killer water

If you can solve the problem of contaminated  water in a school then you should be able to solve it across the country at least with a vibrant national parents teachers association/and this is one of the reasons   why i have called for a dedicated website for the national parents teacher association with these they would be better able to organize themselves to take up their many challenges and reach out to the stakeholders as far as education is concerned.
