Dear All:

If this unfolding situation with US President Donald Trump was occurring in Nigeria, would we be looking at a Nigerian Marine 1 flying Nigeria's counterpart to a Nigerian Walter Reed medical center, or would we be watching a live streaming of a Nigerian leader proudly boarding an international flight to a London medical facility? Therein lies a dramatic display of the characteristic differences between a functional and self-reliant nation and a dysfunctional and dependent national entity.
