Sir,
What in the world are you smoking?
There is nothing to celebrate. He is gain for Canada and big loss for Biafra and Africa.
He is among numerous best and brightest Biafrans and Africans who should be at home helping to groom next generation in academia, in corporate world, sports….and more.
Do you know how long it took them to even agree to give him the position?? It is after years of high pressure training ,testing and close supervision.
Wondering why these big nations do not want good government anywhere in Africa? Part of that is to ensure free flow of highly educated cheap labor from Africa to them.
Every pay day the guys tax will be close to 40% of the earning. That is on the spot, then he goes home to mail another 50% of what is left to mortgage companies, car loan, insurance,
union dues, utility, health insurance… In other words, a day after pay day, the guy could be struggling to feed his family, and keep his car running with about 20 % of his take home pay. Are you still in celebratory mood, Ikenna? BTW, if you can dig into this fella, you will discover that oyiboman in same position, same job specs rakes in more and pays less taxes than the fella. No, Africa is in deep shit and no end in sight.
