Aerodynamic configurations of poise and mind as ideas take shape through speech and presence

As a visiting professor for the Fall 2018 semester on the Visiting Professor/Practitioner Program of the Bernard and Audre Rapoport Centre for Human Rights and Justice at the University of Texas at Austin, USA.  

                                                Poised,regal, nimble

                          

                                                                

                       

                         

The delicately balanced foot

 poised in motion as its companion grips the earth

 both of them supporting an elegance both architectonic and dynamic

 radiant in exquisite configurations of skin and fabric 

 seems to declare

 "give me a place to stand and I will move the world" 

as that ultimate measurer, Archimedes declared centuries ago.

At the sound of the voice, I looked up. Lo and behold, I understood at last the meaning of "philo-sophia", wisdom in its potency, elevating in its abstraction yet sensuous in its power.
