Professor Falola,
I am deeply touched to hear that you loose your brother. I don't know if he is an academic. Otherwise who will celebrate his passing since you are the one who celebrate the passing colleagues/friends.
May the family of the dead have the fortutide to accept this difficult time and the ancestors accept the dead amoong themselves.

Sorry Adieu.E Pele   Which Falola? Where? Sorry.
Why are all deaths ascribed to covid these days!?Has autopsy shown this?
I wish Africa: starts her own (all sciences research &)
development right from the 60 yr independence .zi ve just commented exactly on this few minutes:,ago in one of the 4 ana chat rooms . .The captivity has been too much ,since 400 years of total seizure of our essential culture & technics !
What we have is consumerism though African scientists are globally exportable too.
See the Japanese,Chinese & Indian approach to science & tradition -- mutually inclusive not exclusive !
Salute to Thomas Lambo ,Pontif Prof ex DG WHO who revered traditional psychiatry & applied it To the Aro experiment Thanks To Adeola Adeloye who helped to document African s contribution to Western Medicine  & earliest neurosurgeons in Africa in his books.
