Conference Program:
Early this week, we circulated the full preliminary conference program to all participants to enable each person confirm their inclusion and participation details and to point out any issues that require correction before we go to press or publish online. Thank you very much for the very positive feedback so far, and please continue to reach out to us with any issues or suggestion up till midnight Thursday, 13 June 2019.
Tourism, Tourism, Tourism!
No cost! We are so very happy and excited to announce that we have received sponsorship and the sightseeing trip scheduled for Wednesday, July 3, 2019 will now be completely free for interested participants!
Tour details: After the morning session that day, we will proceed to Abeokuta to explore, kick back and relax at the Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library (OOPL). The trip is a 45-minute drive from Babcock University. The location includes sights such as Obasanjo’s Prison, Aso Rock Replica, the Gifts of State Exhibition, Chronological Exhibition, Green Resort, Wildlife Park, Golf Course, Movie theatre, the OOPL Photocentre, and many much more.
Finale Party: The highlight of the day however will be the finale celebration being sponsored by the TOFAC honoree, Professor Toyin Falola, for all conference participants. We will gather at the Bamboo Groove of the OOPL, in an enchanting natural atmosphere for great food, drinks unlimited, laughter, music, dance, and whatever more we can make of the afternoon. It promises to be an enchanting outing, you’ll see!
