Thanks for this article.

This is the USA's Structural Adjustment Program -  a taste of  the old 
IMF toxic medicine. The purpose is as nefarious as that
of its  IMF cousin. In this case, it is  tax cuts for the billionaire
 barons.

By mid year we can expect to see about a 25% rise in prices
across the board. By the way,  someone would probably
become the world's first trillionaire by then, too.

 The  electric power of Connecticut and neighboring states
in the northeast is generated from Canada, which has more
 than 30 power transmission connections
to the USA. Electricity costs could increase and that also
has implications for local industry.

 We are about to go back to the depressing repercussions of the 
1930 Smoot-Hawley Act.
