Not so long ago there was some dissension about the idea of “ crying more than the bereaved “ and I daresay that with reference to the daily decimation / ethnic cleansing of the innocent people of Gaza and the West Bank, the ongoing terror in Syria where Alawites and Christians are being slaughtered, the suffering in Lebanon, Yemen, Sudan, it would seem that non-Arabs are crying more than the Arab League who do not seem to be able to do anything to stop the bloodshed in those countries…

BTW, I don’t know why the foreign correspondents of the world’s major news outlets don’t cut the crap, referring to Canada is the putative 51st State when as far as I can remember, Israel has always been one and at-one-ment with the United States, to the extent that Israel is probably the first and not some remote “ 51st State.
