Setting up a Space Centre in a Nigerian university I would like to thank Deji Olaleye MCIArb for providing me with Direction and valuable information as to how to set up a university Space centre. The challenge is to move nigeria from a kalo kalo and cowboy economy to a pace faring and super startup economy. Here are my questions and olaleyes answers that follow. What would it take to set up a centre for space studies at the university of ibadan. About how many space lawyers do we have in nigeria.any association of space lawyers in nigeria?.i would like to quote you on my page on linkedin12:48 A WHAT IT TAKES TO HAVE A SPACE STUDIES CENTER (1) The approval of the University senate is required (2) The physical infrastructures for the center is essential (3) Funding structure must be envisioned (4) International Space Cooperation is essential. (5) manpower recruitment and training is necessary (6) The vision and goals of the center must be clearly stated. (7) Appropriate technology and equipment must be acquired (8) Research structure and curriculum development must be structured. (9) Project management prerequisites must be adequately guaranteed. (10) Comparative study, Body of Experts must be assembled. B HOW MANY SPACE LAWYERS Probably about 20 Experts I know from the Country both in and outside the country....
