At the height of the "End SARS" campaign, a lot of mealy mouthed intellectuals were supporting the campaign, a lot of people and companies were also donating foods, water, etc(from the back and sidelines of course).

I told my children that those people didn't really believe in the campaign, but were "jobbers" who thought that the youths were about to form a new government and needed to be relevant in the new dispensation.

My children did not believe me initially, but when the youths were shot by security at the Lekki Toll Gate and the supporters and their supports went mute(with only occasional condemnations from their comfort zones)they(my children) believed me.

people's lives were at stake from a murderous govt.

how many people are bold enough to risk their lives by speaking out in such a situation?

Oluwatoyin,

What about all those that died for speaking out(Christ, Socrates, etc), whom you now extol?
