Osmund Ugochukwu Agbo, MD, FCCP is a Nigerian-born physician, writer, and public intellectual whose work spans medicine, media, and civic engagement. He is a U.S.-based pulmonologist and critical care specialist, currently an attending physician in Texas, with board certifications in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Disease, and Critical Care Medicine. Beyond medicine, he is a syndicated columnist and the author of five books that interrogate culture, power, and Black identity, and the founder of Ikenga Media & Cultural Awareness Initiative, a platform advancing public accountability and governance discourse. He is also an entrepreneur committed to Nigeria’s development through innovation, media, and institutional reform, bringing a global perspective to conversations on Nigeria’s future as the country looks toward 2026.
