Truth
Bound hands and feet,
Gagged,
Encaged.
To be extradited
To the paradise of pretend freedom.

The children of Abraham
Blaze the land again.

The land they call
Their father's land
They blaze again.

Tongue lash evil society
And go to sleep,
And wake up
To repeat the chore.

The limbs wobbly.

Its heart weak,
Its roar recede to yawn.

Storm the stadium,
Stare over your shoulders,
Stand on the dais.

Stammer oath office,
Stare over your shoulders,
Descend the dais.

Storm out of stadium
Into the sanctum of silence.

The lion leashed,
Its roar
They muffled.

The lamb unleashed,
Its muffled bleat
They celebrate.
