A greater percentage of the reasons for religion are material. The prayer is firstly for good health, long life, prosperity and other material things before heaven.

Stop stressing yourself so much, the real world rarely takes decisions from opinions on social media.

For me, the most significant thing about "Palm Sunday" is the exposure of the fickle mindedness of people. It was "hosanna in the highest" on Sunday and on Thursday, it was "crucify him".

God of Mercy, I am not entitled to anything, you owe me nothing. All I had, have and will have are by your abundant grace and mercy.

"Father forgive them......."(The Christ on the cross).

The statement above should be the fulcrum of religions.

Agreed. All religions should encourage forgiveness-  but they should not
encourage adherents to live  their entire life as one  great apology. I suspect that such sentiment is incompatible with Hinduism,Buddhism
Shinto,  Orisa and ATR in general.
It is a spiritual construct of one particular religion.

Inspite of the much trumpeted "Buhari inefficiency"(another Nigeria elite shallow narrative), President Buhari is actually competent within the parameter of the administration's real(secret) agenda.

The President recruited and empowered a tiny Corp of Fulani strategists to enunciate, guard and guide his Fulani domination agenda.

He sits back and quietly watches the agenda unfold.

The opinion that late Yinka Odumakin was not grateful to Bola Tinubu, who was reported to have helped him(Yinka)to solve a liver problem some seventeen years ago is wrong.

Yinka had to fight him(Tinubu)on principle when the need arose.

It is not being ungrateful, it is placing principle above personal considerations.

Men and women of principle do that all the time.

The Buhari administration is a disaster, but a new country being led by any of these characters parading themselves as separatist leaders would be a greater disaster.

That level of gun attack planning and execution in Owerri should have been detected earlier by any  efficient security formation intelligence unit.

The current security situation in South East Nigeria requires strategic approach. No deployment of military and/or paramilitary personnel. No kneejerk and harebrained approaches and certainly, no fire fighter approach. What is needed is strategic constructive engagement approach.

Instead of also hastily absolving IPOB and ESN of the allegation of the Owerri attacks, we should be telling the accuser (Nigerian security)that the onus of proof is on the accuser and that the accuser must present substantial evidence to prove the accusation.

“I have done some thorough investigation and I have some credible lead as to those who are sponsoring these activities of these hoodlums.

I don’t want to pre-empt the investigations of other security agencies but I can tell you we are working hard to ensure the sponsors of this dastardly acts must be brought to book.”-Governor Hope Uzodimma.

Remark: Enter the comic.
