Hurray!

'Tis August 8th,

Another August 8th,

Another anniversary

Of the beginning

Of my earth sojourn.

The 60th anniversary 

Of the beginning

Of my sojourn on earth,

Another jinx broken.

With worthy ofspring

And devoted conjugal partner,

With robust health

And clean prosperity,

I knell 

And gaze heaven wards

In praises to the Almighty

Who sits in heaven,

The earth his footstool.

I render apologies

Even if I am not guilty.

I hold no grudges,

I demand no apologies,

I have no complaints.

I knell also 

In supplication to heaven

To grant us earth dwellers 

An earth suffused

With positive surpluses.
