For example, this phenomenon is currently happening in Nigeria--especially in the Rivers State. We saw the Executive, Legislative, and Judicial institutions unconstitutionally suspend an elected Governor and his administration in the Rivers State for six months. Ironically, it was the "President" of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) who announced to Nigerians, and the world, the very date the Governor would return to his office. It was not announced by the President of the federation, who suspended the Governor!
