I expected this to happen.

Folks to note that he is on this list, and who ever has an up-to-date information should let us know. I have copied him so that he can also brief us in case there is a need to mobilize for his protection.

The Department of State Services (DSS) has invited a former Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Obadiah Mailafia.

He will be at their Jos office Wednesday afternoon.

The invite followed Mailafia’s comment that a Northern governor is the “commander of Boko Haram.”

The statement was made during his interview with Abuja radio station, 95.1FM, on Monday.

Mailafia also warned that Boko Haram was plotting to start a civil war in Nigeria by 2022.

He said part of the plan was to eliminate prominent Nigerians in their homes in urban cities.

This, according to him, would happen after citizens in rural areas have been wiped out.

Mailafia declared that President Muhammadu Buhari government was culpable in Southern Kaduna killings.

“The body language of this administration shows clearly that they have a hand in the killings, no doubt about it”, he said.

great, prof. falola.

mailafia is not saying anything new to some who have been watching the nexus of interests in that subject since the 2011 boko haram resurgence.

my speculative prediction-

we shall hear nothing more about it, either from him or from the Presidency.

if we hear from him, he will say nothing concrete.

there has been an agreement since the GEJ govt that nothing is to be said in public about Boko Haram leaders in nigerian society.

they are also not to be prosecuted.

why?

if they are, northern nigeria might cease as part of nigeria bcs these people might be some of the pillars of northern muslim society.

a broader based version of the miyetti allah terrorist alignment.

GEJ referenced it and said nothing thereafter, to the best of my knowledge.

GEJ's security chief said something and passed away soon after in a helicopter crash.

his colleagues promised to follow up his revelations but kept quiet after and said nothing.

soyinka declared his opinion of who it was, was attacked verbally by adamu adamu and has been silent on it since, though i dont expect its bcs of the attack.

i expect either a repetition of these scenarios or a variation of them.

i would be shocked if anything concrete comes out of this.

thanks

Specifically what did GEJ say about Boko Haram leadership?

What exactly did GEJ's security chief say before the helicopter crash?

Why would Soyinka want to keep quiet about Boko Haram leadership if he knew anything?

And what is the source of your information that there is an agreement since GEJ admin not to say anything in public about Boko Haram leadership?

This is ... err, should/must have been ... the correct headline of the story:

"Boko Haram-DSS invites Obadiah Mailafia over indictment of governor"

or, better still:

"Boko Haram's DSS invites Obadiah Mailafia over indictment of their governor"

Perhaps, the Regime Apologist-in-Chief in this forum could tell us why they have not invited Lt. General T. Y. Danjuma yet.

Oga Agbetuyi,

I can answer the qs easily.

but why not Google those issues of fact?

what GEJ said, what GEJs CSO-if i got the name of the office right- Andrew Azazi  said, what Soyinka said.

i have given my reasons why the silence prevails.

my statement on the agreement is a deduction from what i wrote.

i could take my time to explain at length but i don't consider it worth my while.

why?

almost all the qs of fact you are asking are issues that caused a national sensation when they occurred.

if you are not informed about them, investigate.

when you present the fruits of your investigation and it shows you did not find what i claim, then i should be able to find you the evidence.

if your search corroborates my claims but, in your view,  does not justify my conclusions, show the results of your search and make your own postulations, then we can talk.

but i will not be drawn into  a history lesson on points of fact less than ten years old.

thanks

toyin
