In the territory you govern

When thirst caused visions

And hallucinations

And parched tongues hung out

Like a canines tongue

In searing heat

What did you do

When voters cast their lot

With you

And saw in you

A redeemer from lifes

Myriad woes

What did you do

Besides building palaces

And castles on the people's trust

Beyond living in opulence

Kudos 26 years after Hope 93 so conscientiously reflective poetic mind like this still exists

An' concerned about 

The Roadworm era

When we 're petrified

For stenciled notes

When we 're existing but not living

J u s t b r e a t h I n g

For the tissues to respire

Leaving the digestion

Yo the desperate enzymes

Saving the stories for energy crisis

Don't groan

The great freedom will come
