The People’s World

Stockholm,

Sweden.

28th July (My Father Theodore’s birthday)

#Rabbi Yaron Reuven has already told us about the role of money in any political enterprise

So, if it’s true, as the bard said, that “Money doesn’t talk, it swears”, then the question arises, where do you think that all the money raised as campaign funds is going to go? And here, we’re talking about the several hundreds of millions of $, $$$, $$$, $$$, $$$ in the Democrats’ Campaign War Chest

Where is it all going to

if not to advertise and pro-

pa-gan-dise for Kamala

as the most beautiful

piece of political hardware

machinery that money can buy:

the perfect fit

for the oval office

and that when she finally sits

on the throne with her hubby

chubby Douglas Emhoff the wannabe

so called “First Gentleman”

by her side - like Charles III & Camilla

and the other wannabes Harry & Meghan  -

not this lascivious one ( Megan Thee Stallion) -

that then she, President Kamala Harris,

the first Asian-American President of the US,

will deliver on all of her pork barrel promises?

Of course, an Indian-American President of the US could be good for US-India relations, just as the recently defeated Rishi Sunak ( by a landslide) was good for India ( the Jewel In the crown) - UK relations.

( And by the way, talking about jewels, anti-Semitically or etymologically speaking, I can’t quite remember if it was Khalid Muhammad or Professor Griff that said the word Jewellery, comes from the word Jew )

And now to the main dish on the menu :

This ethnocentric / Afrocentric business having been so generously financed by the campaign funds in action, being promoted by Black Commentator  that “ It’s Kamala Time “ - and posted by none less than Gloria Emeagwali,

Connecticut’s most respected Queen

Grand Duchess of African Studies

puts one in mind of this meme:

My main question here is this : Since the USA is currently not an Apartheid State, why is there such a great fuss about skin colour ? What if Trump was Black? Preposterous question? Well a big fuss is being made that Jesus was/ is Black, thereby suggesting that his Heavenly Father or his earthly mother could have been Black? Is Kamala Black? Is she “wheat-coloured”? What if she was “White”?  White Skin colour can be deceptive you know, just as the Yardies say about some of the Black British Police : “ Coconuts” , i.e., may look brown on the outside but are totally white ( whitewashed) inside.

As Lady Macbeth said to her husband , “My hands are of your colour, but I shame to wear a heart so white"

If Old Joe Biden thought that Kamala was that great, then why did he wait so long to abdicate?

Ditto : If Barack & Michelle thought that Kamala was that great, why did they wait so long to endorse her and why was their phone call to Kamala televised?

Even assuming that all the Black folks with souls are assembled behind Kamala - an improbability, for balance here’s a random sampling of some contrariness from the other side of the coin:

The Truth About Kamala Harris & The Democrat Puppet Show

It’s good when historian in excelsis Emeagwali weighs in or posts on such an existential issue, because she’s well-informed, usually has the right sentiments (just as I sometimes also have the right sentiments  - once upon a time in South Africa, the call was “Black is Black : I want my country back” , such as any day from circa 50 years ago till today, I would  much prefer any of these types of outstanding Black female African-Americans and fast forward to the last 50 years and  someone like e.g.  Angela Davis  -prefer her type to the likes of Kamala H as first female Black President of USA, because, (a) She (Angela) would - if possible by executive order, get rid of or at least reform The Prison-Industrial Complex, whereas , judging from Kamala Harris’ record as a prosecutor in California, we can safely surmise that despite her tall talk about “freedom”  - a word that's supposed to resonate with the oppressed masses , Kamala would obviously be delighted to throw a few more Black brothers and sisters into the Alcatraz Federal Penitentiary but not the her favourite people in the Middle East who, even as you read this, are hell-bent on committing unimaginable atrocities, war crimes, genocide, and other unspeakable crimes against humanity….

With regard to Israel, the USA’s most dependable military outpost in that part of the world, here’s the latest from Daily Alert

Behind closed doors, during his latest visit to the power brokers in the US, Netanyahu having been assured of diplomatic cover etc , is confident that he can now go after Hezbollah  -terrorise Hezbollah with the threat that they will use their Satanic nuclear arsenal if  need be ,especially  if Iran decides to join in the fray.  As things are, Old Man Biden  is not seeking re-election and this means that he feels that he can do as he please  or as they  -whoever they are will be telling him  to do  because in his heart of heart ,he probably still believes what Ariel Sharon said :

Every time we do something, you [Shimon Peres] tell me America will do this and will do that..... I want to tell you something very clear: Don't worry about American pressure on Israel. We, the Jewish people, control America, and the Americans know it."

I imagine that since she - Lady ( Kamala)  is supposedly already black, she’s not going to appoint a fellow darkie as her running mate ( that would be too much for White America) so she’ll probably appoint ( I almost wrote “ anoint” ) Josh Shapiro as her running mate. Some loose cannon/ free wheeling racist or assassin, recently escaped from the lunatic asylum  and without any declared motive  could  -God forbid - bump her off  - the way that they wanted to bump off  Donald Trump - and de facto Shapiro would becomes the candidate or the Prezzo   -or Kamala wins the election  and then someone bumps her off - or and after her second term, she hands the baton over to Shapiro…

A short footnote on the notion that “Kamala is supposedly already black.”

It’s a bone of contention that will be seriously challenged and debated in race-conscious America in the coming weeks, starting with the kind of sentiments what we find being expressed  here, “ The Truth About Kamala's Ethnicity”, perhaps worthy/ unworthy of V.S.Naipaul the guy or ”goy” who some people so loved to hate in this forum , to the extent that when I congratulated one of my Jamaican friends that a fellow Caribbean had been decorated with the Nobel Prize for Literature, he dismissed him contemptuously as a “Coolie Man”

Personally, I  should say that since very long ago through the theory and practice of  Kashmir Shaivism / Siddha Yoga/ Advaita Vedanta I should hope that I have  transcended  some of the vain categorisations of identity status associated with ethnicity, race, nationality, caste, noble or lowly birth, big poet, little pint pot poet, House Nigga claiming to be the "voice of God ", Mister Money Bags the dispenser of honey, author of a thousand best sellers, wannabe president etc …all is vanity

Professor Gloria in Excelsis ,

What’s this : Black America is not supporting Kamala Harris: Madeline Brame

But,  for now, I submit to your better knowledge and judgement.

If we choose to go a little further back you must be 100% right since we all came from Africa; at least those were the opening remarks  of  one of the  greatest then living Talmudists, Rabbi Adin Steinsaltz when he addressed the assembled congregation in the Great Synagogue of Stockholm,, and I'm quoting him absolutely correctly, because  I was sitting at the edge of my seat , with bated breath ,pencil in hand,to take down the words of wisdom he was about to breath. His opening salvo  was “ We all came from Africa”  - thereby capturing everybody’s attention…

Mr Prasad ( ex-Osmania University) my neighbour in Ahoada in Nigeria was Telugu ,from Hyderabad ,and jet black in complexion, which , strictly speaking, does not necessarily make him “African” or of African origin. The children used to  point at him, marvelling at this black man with straight black hair, like a white man.

To this day, I still don’t know whether when Rabbi Adin Steinsaltz said,” We all came from Africa”  he was merely restating the idea that the Jewish people emigrated from Egypt after sojourning there for a few hundred years, or if , when he said “ we” he was referring to all mankind.

Ditto with Pharaoh Sanders blowing ” Our Roots began in Africa .”

So Kamala is of African descent? A soul sister?

BTW, I’m told that Idi Amin offered the Indians in Uganda, Ugandan citizenship but that they refused it and that made him ( Amin) hopping mad…

Ditto, most of the Jews in Algeria rejected the invitation to adopt Algerian citizenship before, during, and after the Algerian War of Independence. My Algerian friends say that they mostly chose to side with France..

At my secondary school there was an English couple teaching English -Mr. Holden and his Indian wife. Over here at Stockholm University  -English department, research methods was taught by Mark Troy and Dr. Ishrat Lindblad who was Indian-born ( in my opinion, very correct, very British, and very nice -married to a Swede ( I think)

May the Almighty save the miscreants and the male chauvinist pigs from racism.

Re - “Barack and Michelle held back

endorsement,  so that they would not

be accused of kicking out Joe to

put in their favorite” -

Only Barack and Michelle can certify that ; the rest of us have been given the impression that the Obamas would have much preferred a level playing field, and a more open process from which would emerge the most suitable candidate from the Democrats  August convention….

Nice reading your post, as usual.
