What a relief to delve below the headlines! 

Peter Obi : “I Was Grilled for Over Two and a Half Hours” 

I was greatly perturbed; my morbid imagination got the better of me as I thought that Peter Obi had been nabbed by some NSO agents  - that they had possibly kidnapped him in downtown Abuja, in broad daylight and driven him to a secret location for “interrogation”, and that’s where the grilling was done, much like the kind of grilling that is unforgettably described in the opening pages of Mo Yan’s  Life and Death Are Wearing Me Out ( a must read) 

But all is well. Today is Africa Day ! Hale and hearty, hopefully he will soon be on the campaign trail battling to prevail in the next Mother of All Nigerian Elections
