However, I guess that such news was being expected by Baba Kadiri who has been harping on this theme for quite some time now. His only disappointment could be about the long delay in apprehending the criminals and bringing them to justice.
Such news couldn’t have taken Professor Okey Iheduru, our resident military expert, by surprise either, whilst, no doubt, it’s more grist for the mill and will surely feature in Professor Jibrin Ibrahim’s next lamentation. Hopefully in that lamentation there will be a little rejoicing that the news of these arrests is good news for the insecurity situation and will to some extent stem the tide, maybe put some brakes on a nation that he has otherwise been describing as a nation hurtling headlong towards chaos and anarchy!
