This is an excerpt from President Buhari’s speech to his cabinet before the commencement of the second and final term of his Administration. He touches on the broken economy that his administration inherited, which eventually went into the recession fiscal year 2016. From his perspective, this was further compounded by the insecurity and corruption that existed then. He then talks about the improvements made during his time upon coming into office. In all, this speech seemed to be a morale booster that would garnish support from his cabinet members to precede into his final term in office.
