Freshly-minted ISU's University Professor Tunde Adeleke, congratulations indeed! I still remember the year (1986-1987) we were together in the Black Studies Department of The Ohio State University. You are always a serious scholar, hence you continue to make us feel very proud of you, no matter where you are! I am happy to note further that Professor Richard Drake, my NYU European History Professor -- now Lucile Speer Research Chair in Politics and History at University of Montana, Missoula -- still remembers your hard and distinguished work in their Missoula Department. Please, keep up Africa's flag flying high anywhere you serve as a distinguished Historian!!

A.B. Assensoh.
